Singer-songwriter Wouter Hamel is celebrated for his timeless vocals and original compositions. Hamel's style has evolved from classic jazzy crooning to funk, pop, blues, and soul, still blending nostalgic charm with catchy melodies and a modern flair.

Backed by top-tier Dutch jazz musicians, Hamel has captured hearts since his 2007 debut album. His ensemble has graced renowned stages worldwide, from the Tokyo Jazz Festival to the North Sea Jazz Festival and beyond - working with the string section of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, producer Benny Sings, even duetting with jazz legend Mark Murphy. Hamel's music transcends borders, resonating with audiences across Germany, the UK, France, Japan, Spain, and South Korea.

The albums Hamel and Nobody's Tune achieved gold and platinum statuses in the Netherlands and gained significant airplay in Japan. His song Breezy enjoys a cult following and has been covered by K-pop stars. Now seven albums in, inspiration is as strong as ever. His latest album Little Torch – with Lucky Streak, in-house tune of the Holland America Line - sees Hamel continuing to grow into the sound that has earned him a place in the hearts of retro-pop fans around the world.
